Fire & Ice Policies
Infrared Sauna or Cold Plunge Bath if:
• I have not showered thoroughly and still have oils, creams, or makeup on my body.
• I have had any type of HAIR COLOR/treatment within the past two weeks. If RED COLOR OR OTHER COLORS (Green, Blue, Purple - within the past six weeks.
• pregnant women
• anyone with heart disease
• those with very low or high blood pressure
• anyone with epilepsy
• those taking antibiotics
• users of mind-altering drugs, such as stimulants, tranquilizers, or alcohol
It’s always important to consult your doctor before trying cold therapy, especially if you have underlying health conditions.

BRING A SMALL SNACK - JUST IN CASE YOU NEED IT!

You bring in your music you like on your phone.
USE THE FLOAT TANK IF:
I have not showered thoroughly and still have oils, creams, or makeup on my body.
I have had any type of HAIR COLOR/treatment within the past two weeks. If RED COLOR OR OTHER COLORS (Green, Blue, Purple - within the past six weeks.
I am under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
I have a communicable or infectious skin condition, disorder, or diseases or open sores.
I am diabetic, unless my diabetes is under medical control
I have a history of heart trouble, epilepsy, seizures, or blackouts and have not received my doctor’s permission to use the floatation tank.
I am experiencing a heavy menstrual period or external vaginal episode.
I am in my first trimester PREGNANCY, (can cause miscarriages) or after 37 weeks of pregnancy because of the risk of your water breaking during the float.
I have a condition which may be adversely affected by cutaneous absorption of magnesium.
I have kidney disease.
I have incontinence, or voluntarily/involuntarily release of bodily fluids of any kind.
PLEASE do not use any hair or beauty products containing glitter 24 hours prior to your appointment.
Please do not shave or wax within 8 hours of your appointment as the salt water may sting freshly shaven skin.
Have a light meal or snack but avoid a heavy meal or excess caffeine.
Even if you have recently showered, we ask that you shower (and remove all make-up) just prior to floating to avoid contamination.
We recommend covering small cuts or wounds with a liquid band-aid (provided).
You may float with or without contact lenses. Your choice.
I am choosing to use floatation therapy of my own free will and will not hold the owner/operator or Bare Necessities Floating and Massage liable for any injury during a session or while on the premises. Bare Necessities Floating and Massage reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
I understand that the float tank solution is not discarded between floats, but is filtered, sanitized and recycled; that our tanks are inspected between every single float; and that violation of any of these rules that results in contamination of the float tank solution may result in a cleaning or salt replacement fee of $200-$1000
Rescheduling & Cancellation
We are a family-owned small business and last minute changes to reservations do result in loss of revenue, as such making last minute changes to reservations is considered canceling and will result in a cancellation fee of 50% for less then a 24-hour notice.
Rescheduling is allowed as long as it is arranged at least 24 hours in advance.
To reschedule, please call and speak with someone or leave a detailed message at least 24 hours prior to your reservation.
Remember, you can always send someone in your place and avoid this fee.
NO CALL/NO SHOWS YOU WILL BE CHARGED FULL AMOUNT!
